Mission
The mission is to empower orphans and vulnerable girls affected by HIV by providing them with essential support and access to education. They ensure that the students have everything they need, from school uniforms and fees to food, sanitary pads, toiletries, underwear and body lotion, so they can focus on their studies and build a better future. By growing their own food on their land, they work towards stability and self-sufficiency, securing a reliable source of nourishment for the students. They hope to expand on agricultural efforts by increasing the land under cultivation and acquiring a tractor, which will help them achieve even greater food security for the school and community.
Project Overview and Impact
The organisation is more than just a source of aid; it is a transformative project that gives vulnerable girls the foundation to thrive. Many of the students once struggled with basic necessities, from food to hygiene products, making school attendance feel like an impossible goal. Now, with access to essential items like school uniforms and toiletries, the girls are not only able to attend school but do so with a renewed sense of confidence.
For girls affected by HIV and orphaned at a young age, the school provides more than just education. It offers hope, stability and the support needed to break the cycle of poverty and hardship. The organisation continues to focus on building a self-sufficient model that not only addresses immediate needs but also paves the way for long-term success and community growth. This security and care are enabling the students to dream of brighter futures and pursue their academic goals with determination.
